Pelvic pain is rarely simple — and for many patients, it isn't a single diagnosis. In this session, Jennifer Lanoff, WHNP-BC, MSCP, JD, introduces the concept of the Pelvic Pain Pentad: a clinically significant constellation of five frequently co-occurring and chronically underdiagnosed conditions — endometriosis, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), and pelvic venous disease. Clinicians will gain a framework for recognizing the overlapping presentations, shared pathophysiology, and diagnostic pitfalls that make this cluster so challenging to identify and treat. Through evidence-based discussion, this session equips practitioners with practical tools to improve recognition, reduce diagnostic delay, and deliver more coordinated, comprehensive care to patients who have often been dismissed, misdiagnosed, or left without answers.
