PCOS Just Got a New Name — and It Changes Everything
After 14 years and input from more than 14,000 patients and clinicians worldwide, polycystic ovary syndrome has a new name: polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome, or PMOS. The rename, published in The Lancet, finally describes what the condition actually is.
