Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) and Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) are common yet often underdiagnosed conditions that significantly affect quality of life. In this clinically focused session, Dr. Tami Rowen will review the diagnostic criteria for PMS and PMDD, discuss the neurohormonal underpinnings, and explore evidence-based treatment strategies—including lifestyle, pharmacologic, and hormonal approaches. She’ll also address how to validate patient experiences and integrate care models that support women navigating cyclic mood and physical symptoms.
