Headaches and Hormones: Understanding the Link in Women’s Health - Pelin Batur, MD, FACP, MSCP

Hormonal fluctuations are a key trigger for many types of headaches in women—but navigating diagnosis and treatment can be complex. In this clinically focused session, Dr. Pelin Batur will explore the connection between hormones and headache syndromes, including menstrual migraine, perimenopausal triggers, and the role of hormonal therapies. She’ll provide practical strategies for diagnosis, preventive care, and treatment tailored to a woman’s reproductive stage, helping clinicians deliver more personalized and effective headache management.

Pelin Batur, MD, FACP, MSCP, is a board-certified internist and nationally recognized expert in women’s health at Cleveland Clinic, where she has practiced since 1998.
