James A. Simon, MD, CCD, MSCP, IF, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN and reproductive endocrinologist based in Washington, D.C. and a Clinical Professor of obstetrics and gynecology at George Washington University School of Medicine. Dr. Simon specializes in patient-focused care for women spanning the reproductive life cycle, from adolescence to childbirth through menopause.
He has served as principal investigator on more than 400 clinical trials, research grants and scholarships related to women’s health, and the author of more than 800 published articles, abstracts, chapters, and the paperback book: Restore Yourself: A Woman’s Guide to Reviving Her Sexual Desire and Passion for Life.
Dr. Simon earned his bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago. He completed an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The George Washington University Hospital and a fellowship in endocrinology and infertility at Harbor-University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center.
