Susan Brian, MD, is a board-certified endocrinologist practicing at the Cotton-O'Neil Diabetes and Endocrinology Center in Topeka, Kansas, where she serves as both a clinical endocrinologist and investigator at the Cotton-O'Neil Clinical Research Center.
Dr. Brian earned her medical degree from Dartmouth Medical School and completed her internal medicine residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center, where she was recognized as Outstanding Senior Resident of the Year. She furthered her training with an Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine.
With a distinguished career spanning nearly two decades, Dr. Brian has held leadership roles, including Chair of the Department of Medicine at Stormont Vail Health (2019-2022) and President of the Heartland Chapter of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. Her research contributions include publications in prestigious journals, including the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, with particular expertise in acromegaly, diabetes management, and thyroid disorders. She has served as principal investigator on numerous clinical trials and continues to advance endocrine care through her dual commitment to clinical practice and research.
