Orgasmic function is one of the most under-addressed components of female sexual health in clinical practice — yet it is consistently among the concerns women most want their providers to address. In this session, Dr. Lauren Streicher delivers a frank, evidence-based clinical review of female orgasm: the physiology, the impact of menopause and hormonal changes on orgasmic function, and the pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment options available to clinicians. From neurological and vascular mechanisms to the role of estrogen, testosterone, and emerging therapies, this session equips providers with the clinical knowledge and language to assess, discuss, and treat orgasmic dysfunction as a legitimate and addressable component of women's sexual health.
