Traditional lipid panels don’t always tell the full story—especially when assessing cardiovascular risk in women. In this practical session, Dr. Caitlin Giesler will explore the role of testing, including lipoprotein(a) and hs-CRP, and when these tools can meaningfully impact clinical decision-making. She’ll share real-world insights on how to personalize prevention and treatment strategies using the data, particularly in midlife women and those with complex risk profiles.
Dr. Caitlin Giesler is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in the treatment and prevention of heart disease in women. She has spent her 20-year career advancing heart care for women through medical practice, advocacy, and education.
